When I read...

When I was a little girl, my brother gives me a book for that I could read in summer. This book calls “The Knight in Rusty Armor”, from that moment I discovered a world where I could learn with just words. Through this book I learned values that I did not know and that helped me to grow up, besides I could understand the different point of view of the persons.

That book was the beginning of many books I read, the different ways that I could travelled in the world. In a book I could stay in USA and at the other time I was enjoying a view of the River Thames, just I needed changing the page.

I really learn about the different cultures and history of the world, because I liked read about a world war and the history of my country. The book “Mira tu” tells us about every corner of our country; through you full of knowledge and also you already have ideas where to travel for summer.

The Subject I Enjoy

In this post I talk about the subject that I enjoy studying. I'm a student major of Dentistry in the Universidad de Chile, this is my first semester of this major. I really tried to do my best to have good grades, but in many times is really difficult the change from going to the school and after going to the university. 

In this time, the subject that I really enjoy is Destrezas y Autocuidado para el Desarrollo Profesional I, because this is the first contact that we have with the clinical practice considering that We need to practice the manual aspects, so that in the future it will become easier.

In this subject we study the different diseases and problems related to the oral cavity and the different ways to prevent them. Besides we have a practical class, where we can develop different techniques to work with our future patients. This are the principal reasons that I really like and enjoy with this subject, besides this subject motivates me to continue, despite the all stress which involves studying the careers of health.

Someone I admire in my field

The person who I think I admire is Rodrigo Hernandez; He is a dentist and teacher of the Universidad de Chile.  He is my teacher of the university in the subject of Anatomy in my first year like student. In this year I am very complicated with the new subjects that I have to study, almost Anatomy, but the all students and me are very tired and bored because the students could learn about the different parts of the body in 4 hours without stay sleep in this class and I have not good memory and in this subject is very important have this and I fell so impotent when I can remember all that I hear except with this teacher. Others teachers don’t have the same way of teach like the teacher Rodrigo, this is the principal reason that I thankful for teach very well and I can remember all that He say for the different ways that He teach.

Besides he is a person very friendly and kindly with the persons who around him because I could see this situation but I can’t talk very much with him.

The truth or to feel good?

During the course of our life, we have decided about to tell the truth or conceal this information since we were a child’s.

What is the truth? It's the act of telling the true, but what do I prefer?  

Is very complicated said always the truth, because the nature of the human is conceal this for shame or fear of the other person.

In my point of view, in many opportunities I don’t tell the truth because I thought that I can hurt the fillings of someone very important for me, but when I grow up I understand that It’s so important reveal the truth because I would not like that the persons who surround me don’t tell me the truth. In the area of health always we must be honest with the patient about your clinical information.

For example, in a situation in which my friend to tell one of my secret with other person, I prefer that my best friend tell me the truth in the face before that I find out about someone else.

There is a proverb that said: A liar is caught before a thief, because in my opinion the truth always comes up like the light in the darkness.

My dream job

In this post I will talk about of my dream job. This is having a bookstore where the people will can find the book that they look for and the same time I will recommend to the people other books that they might like.

I love all that have a relation with the books (above all its smell), that is the reason that I will like this kind of work, because I enjoy when the people reads books for have a moment of funny, for the work/study or just for forget this world.

I really like talks with other people about books, but above everything recommend book that will transform your life, because the books have this "super power", change your life with just words.

In this job I think that you don't travel a lot because you need worry about your bookstore and the new books that will be publish and bestsellers of the moment.

Besides technically, in this job you work in an office (indoor job) but you can manage your store in the same place where be located and go over the publish house for find the best book for your bookstore, and you don't need a study for have a store, just very money, attitude and love the books.

My future profession

My future profession is Dentistry. In my own opinion is health care career most important because is relevant the oral health for our life and the relation with the other people.

For example, the smile (teeth and gums) is the first impression that a persons takes about ourself and own self-care . This is one reason that a persons have to care about oral sthetic appearence.

The dentist is the responsible of that society have to a good oral health throught the prevention to don't get oral disease.

Most of the diseases in our bodies are related to the oral cavity. If our mouth (gums and teeth) are sick, our body will trigger multiple problems about our health. This is where the dentistry comes in who will be in charge of helping society to reverse these problems by being able to detect diseases in time.

My profession has a many oportunity where we can work in differents facets like pediatry, ortodoncy, etc. This kind of thing gets my profession turn special. The other reason is that dentistry is the one of the few profession where we can see each other close relation patient-dentist and I thinks is the most attracted of the dentistry because we can to get to bond of friendly and help.

My first concert

My first concert

I don't have many experience about of concerts, but I can talk about of the only opportunity when I went to one. 

This year on March I went to "Concierto Mechon" that it was organized for the university where I am studying. For this reason, I went with my friends of Dentistry and the rest of my companions to the Recoleta stadium where the concert was. The price of ticket for the concert was so cheap for the "mechones", who are the people that admit in the first year of our university.

Well, in the concert we can heard different groups like Alex Anwanter, "La Moral Distraida" and "Santaferia", these last, played cumbia. With my group of friend and me didn't know these bands of cumbia but We really have fun moment dancing and trying sing their songs. 

These bands are Chilean musician  and the audience of the concert was really crazier dancing their songs, because they are very famous. The concert finish early, but I can say that my first concert was the best occasion for spend my time with my friends dancing and singing.
